How we set goals

We are “growth-oriented”. Literally. We are highly focussed on growing talented people within the organisation along the career path of their choosing - be it as an individual contributor, or as an engineering lead, or laterally moving into different streams altogether! Engineering is something we deeply care about, and we all love contributing hands-on - people at all levels get their hands dirty with code, or product analytics.

To achieve this, we set goals for ourselves using the OKR framework. Our objectives are aligned along the following core principles:

  1. Performance
  2. Reliability
  3. Timely delivery
  4. Documentation
  5. Personal growth (inception!)

Along with setting “normal” key results for ourselves, about 30% of our goals are “stretch” goals. These stretch goals help dream big - and set the path for career progression.
