We hire smart, and then we work closely with everyone to track their growth. We encourage each team member to take about 20% of their time to contribute to responsibilities a level higher than their current seniority; pushing them to skill up, and grow professionally. While we continue to hire laterally for senior positions, we strive to grow the talent from within as well.
As we all continue to work remotely, we take time-outs often to just catch up as a team, over a beverage of our preference, and discuss everything outside of work. At work, each of us has mentoring responsibilities towards our junior folks, to help them identify which path they want to grow towards.
