Our agile process allows Development and QA teams to work in parallel, ensuring that quality is driven into the heart of all development processes. QA teams are involved throughout our tech products - from requirement definitions, to delivery of the product, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.

Quality Assurance Engineers at Livspace test cutting edge applications and products at the user level and code level, both manually and using automated tools.

The QA team understands software internals, debug problems along with the development teams, and write automated tests with scripting and user-level automated tools with CI/CD pipelines.

Some of the employed tools are

  • Testcafe and Cypress.io for UI automation, pyresttest and Rest Assured for REST API, k6.io, Jmeter, and Locust.io for performance testing.
  • Appium, Web Driver.io, OpenCV for mobile automation.
  • Reactjs, Materialui for developing the automation testing dashboards.
  • Jira for defect tracking and release management, TestRail for Test Case management, bitbucket for repository handling, and devtron as the CI/CD environment.

QAs at Livspace are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up end to end responsibilities for testing. They are also responsible for understanding the domain and the product in detail and coming up with the test strategy/planning, writing with the test cases, driving the test case sign-off processes with the stakeholders, contributing to code level Unit tests, test execution, and reporting.
